Shop Policies

One of a kind silver jewelry made with vintage, reclaimed, and natural gems handcrafted in Dallas, TX.

SHIPPING

Currently only shipping via USPS Priority mail to the contiguous 48 states with insurance, tracking, and signature confirmation of receipt.  This lets both us and the USPS know that your order has been safely received by the intended recipient and helps to protect you against package theft.  If a recipient is not home to sign for the package, the carrier will take it back to your local post office where you can pick it up from the counter (sometimes the carrier will attempt delivery the next day, but they typically will leave a note with next step instructions).  Sometimes the USPS is understaffed or overwhelmed and will mark an item's tracking as "Delivered" 1-2 days prior to the package actually being delivered to its destination. While this is not a desirable practice, it is rather common.

Items are ready to ship (unless stated otherwise) and will be shipped between 2-7 working days after payment is received. I will wait to ship items for 48 hours only so that any cancellations can be made.  Please send an email to [email protected] to request cancellations within 48 hours of ordering.

Once your package has been dropped off at the Post Office, we are not responsible for any loss or theft of your order. Please double and triple check your shipping address at checkout.  We are not responsible for incorrectly entered addresses and are unable to refund/replace items sent to the wrong address.  If a mistake is caught within the 48 hour window, you can cancel the order and re-order with the correct address.

Because of the time and labor intensive nature of handcrafted one of a kind jewelry, refunds and exchanges will not be accepted.

If something arrives broken or damaged, please contact me and we can work out a solution.

CARE

Many of my jewelry items are carefully crafted using fragile materials including vintage porcelain, glass, and soft gemstones.  These items need to be treated with delicate care. Please remove jewelry prior to doing activities such as showering, sleeping, exercise, or physical labor. Refunds will not be issued for damages incurred by these activities.

- Store jewelry in a soft pouch or box away from other pieces to avoid unwanted scratches.
- Make sure your jewelry remains dry. It's best not to shower or wash while wearing your jewelry.
- Avoid allowing any type of chemical to come into contact with your jewelry (such as perfumes, soaps, lotions, etc).  Such contact can potentially harm metal finishes and gemstones.
- If a piece needs to be cleaned, we strongly recommend using a gentle cleaning cloth made specifically for jewelry, or consulting with a local jewelry shop for a cleaning. Ultrasonic cleaners are NOT recommended as they can damage your stones.

I do not currently offer resizing servivces, however if resizing is needed, this can often be achieved by jewelers local to your area.  Please carefully review ring sizing, especially for wider bands which tend to require going up 1/2 size or more from your normal ring size.  I will do my best to document all dimensions and weights for jewelry pieces so that the wearer will know what to expect.

Most jewelry items will be made with solid .925 Sterling Silver or .999 Fine Silver, as indicated in each product listing.  Items described as "Tiffany" will be crafted with an alloyof 96% Tin / 4% Silver
over copper. Some wearers may notice that the sterling silver will oxidize and patinate over time, which gives it a unique coloring and character.   Depending on the wearer's personal chemistry, this may also result in a discoloring reaction to the skin due to the small level of copper alloyed into the Sterling silver. This is quite normal and is a natural property of the metal (many store/mall-bought sterling items will not do this because they are rhodium-plated, which is a toxic and expensive solution that wears off easily and requires periodic re-plating).  Please take care not to expose your piece to harsh chemicals.
